This section of the Missouri River opens up in late February, allowing many out-of-state fishermen to begin their fishing season, months before their own state opener. Much of the Lake Francis Case walleye population spawns at Chamberlain in April; this massive concentration of walleyes provides plenty of fast action. Similar to the walleyes, anglers across the Midwest migrate to Chamberlain to take advantage of this outstanding fishery.
For an outstanding ringneck pheasant hunting trip, the place to go is the Chamberlain/Oacoma, South Dakota area. We are located in central South Dakota on Interstate 90 and the Missouri River. Just 200 miles east of Rapid City and 140 miles west of Sioux Falls.

As a South Dakota Pheasant Hunting Guide I can direct you to a successful hunt. We have tree belts, soil bank land, and grain strips groomed for hunting, which provides a large population of wild birds to hunt.

Whether you have a large group, small group, or family group our goal is to make your hunting trip an experience of a life time. Book early as time slots get filled up fast. The season runs from the third Saturday in October to the end of the first week in January.
